It is a Quackenbush family tradition to take any bottles consumed in an evening by the
fire and put them into the coals to see if you can melt it down successfully without
it cracking. This bottle of Chateau Morrisette's Red Mountain Laurel made into a
beautiful piece the next morning. It did finally crack later the next day, but I
think if it lasts long enough for a picture then it counts as a winner.
