| Grandma and Grandpa Q were visiting this year during the kite festival, so they joined us for a fun filled day. We had some really big winds this year and Sammy almost got carried away by her kite. Grandpa Q took out the kite that he had gotten for his birthday last year and found out that "some assembly was required". We also found out that the local police have embraced the 21st century and are using Segues to get around large crowds. Not only does it look cool, but given how big of an area Green Hill Park covers, it's also quite practical. The Q's brought down their motorcycle on this trip and since it was supposed to be a nice warm day (around 80) they decided to take the bike to the festival. | |
