Recently I realized that I had not pulled the pictures off of my phone in a very long time. When I did, I found that I had a whole bunch of pictures that should have been on previous pages, but were left out. As such I've decided to do a little "catch up" page to put some of the better pictures out there, even if they are a bit out of order.

This one comes from all the way back on July 17, 2008. This would have been a checkup for Owen at Duke where we stayed in a hotel. I would have taken this picture to send to his sister at bedtime.

August 14, 2008 - A couple of pictures of Sammy in the pool at the La Quinta Inn, where we stayed for the days around Owen's cochlear implant surgery.

September 25, 2008 - This was actually Owen's birthday, but we were down at UNC Chapel Hill for a follow-up with his cochlear implant surgeon. I took these pictures in the hotel to send as a good night to Sammy.

December 15, 2008 - Sammy is being silly with a chip at Moe's Southwest Grill.

This is a picture of Owen hanging out at Sammy's gymnastics lesson. We had put the bar across the front of the stroller in hopes that he would grab onto it and use it to sit up. Owen, as you can see, had different ideas.

January 9, 2009 - This is Owen being so sick we had to take him to the ER. Clearly he was just missing the hospital because he perked up as soon as we took him in - and then we got these nice pictures of him playing with Daddy.

January 12, 2009 - OK, so maybe he wasn't faking it after all. He did end up getting his shunt replaced. I thought these pictures of him playing with his favorite "Bug" in his hospital crib were cute.

January 15, 2009 - Just an hour before we got discharged I took Owen and Sammy for a walk - both of them love the fish tank on the children's floor at Duke. As you can see, Owen has mastered sitting up in the stroller, although he does occassionally use it as a headrest.
