| Snow, snow and more snow! It kept snowing through the night and the result was just beautiful. We did lose a branch off a redbud tree in our front yard though, and Sammy decided to haul it off into the woods. It took her quite a while to do it, but she eventually she managed it. | |

| The snow piled up on the deck table looks like a big aspirin. | |

| Sammy started the day with some sledding while Owen hung out on Daddy's shoulders. When Sammy got bored of the sled, she laid down in the snow and declared that "Snow is warm and cozy." | |
|

|
| And yes, we finally got to make a proper snowman! | |

| Which is somewhat more impressive than our previous best for this year on January 8th. | |

| When our clothes were soaked through and our hands were frozen, we went back inside and warmed ourselves up by playing Wii Mario Cart. Sammy was clearly taking a difficult turn on her motorcart when I took this picture. | |
