We start out the day with a few pictures of the view from our balcony. Sammy wanted to
sit in the big lifeguard chair, so I climbed up there with her before we headed out to
rent a bike to tour the boardwalk. We saw other people riding these family bikes and it
looked like fun. The boardwalk seemed nice and flat when we walked it. Appearances
can be deceiving and we found that pedaling a bike with a few hundred pounds of extra weight for
a canopy, basket and a big seat for six miles is actually a great deal of work. We also
found out that no matter how flat it may look at sea level, there are little hills in every path.
It was a neat way to see the whole boardwalk though and Sammy really enjoyed it, so
we had fun.
