Cord Blood Road Trip

We have met many families through the
fetal hydrocephalus website.
The Millers started corresponding while Jen was still pregnant. They live out West, but
decided that they wanted to have their son get a cord blood infusion just like Owen did.
They arranged to have his cord blood collected at the hospital where their son Jameson was
born and shipped back to Duke. When Jameson was 8 weeks old they flew to Duke to have the infusion.
Owen and I made a road trip down to get a chance to meet them while they were so nearby.
Dr. Kurtzberg, the same doctor that did Owen's infusion, did Jameson's infusion as well. It was
great to see Dr. Kurtzberg again and we got some pictures with her as well. The Millers are a
wonderful family and Jameson and his sister are lucky to have them as parents.
