Sammy and Mommy took a trip to Luray Caverns - the largest caverns on the East Coast.
They are really quite spectacular, and they are only about
two and a half hours north of us so we made a day trip of it. They also have a maze there
made from arborvitae bushes. Sammy really liked that, it's perfect for kids. They give you
a little green card at the start of the maze that has 4 blocks on it. Throughout the maze
are hidden 4 stations where you can stamp your card. She was happy to get all 4 stamps. There
is a nifty little fountain at the center of the maze.

Sammy was this wide-eyed all the way through the caverns.

"Dippin Dots - Ice Cream of the Future!"
Sammy calls these Space Dots because the first time Mommy and Daddy had them
was many years ago at Kennedy Space Center where they were renamed to match
the theme of the place. We didn't know that they were actually called Dippin
Dots everywhere else on the planet until well after Sammy was born and had picked
up the name.
