Museum of Life and Science - Part 1
On the second day of our mini-vacation we went to the Museum of Life and
Science in Durham, NC. The Apollo astronauts received some of their early
training in the Chapel Hill area (which is right next to Durham) and so they
have quite a few artifacts there. We started our tour outside in the "Life" area
first.

An odd coincidence: Just a few days
before we made this trip, Sammy's summer school class had been studying the animals of the rain forest.
She chose to do research on poisonous frogs because they are so pretty. We had looked up
pictures of them to take into class, and the pictures looked exactly like these: |
