The Big Day - The Turning On of the Cochlear Implant
For one of the biggest days in Owen's life, we traveled down to UNC in Durham, NC to
have the cochlear implant turned on (also known as the Hookup). We brought the whole family down for this, it
was too important and exciting to leave Sammy at home. It was really exciting to see
him react to a sound for the first time ever.

| Owen hasn't been interested in pacifiers since
he was two months old. He found one in his toy basket today and popped it in as if he
knew exactly what it was for. He still prefers his finger, but it was too cute of
a picture to pass up. |
